1956年 由派 拉蒙电影公司制作，由打造好莱坞黄金时代的导演塞西尔·B·戴米尔执导的史诗电影《十诫》，荣获1957年第29届奥斯卡金像奖最佳音效、最佳剪辑、最佳服装设计、最佳摄影、最佳艺术指导、最佳影片、及最佳特效等多项提名。本片被美国国家电影保护局列为政府收藏作品，是一部不可错过的影史经典之作。

《十诫》是1956年派拉蒙电影公司制作的一部史诗电影，故事取材自《旧约圣经》的《出埃及记》，讲述犹太先知摩西领导以色列人出走埃及，并于接受上帝耶和华颁布的“十诫”的故事。该片导演是塞西尔·B·戴米尔，由饰演宾虚的查尔登·海斯顿扮演摩西，尤·伯连纳演法老，气势磅礴，尤其是劈开红海的特技在当时堪称一绝。导演德密尔以拍摄千军万马的大型史诗片著称，亦曾在1923年导演了同名的无声电影《十诫》。
