◎简　　介　

　　白石咲和子原是东京急诊中心的一名医生，她因为一起医疗诉讼事件而选择辞职，回到自己的出生地金泽。对于一直全身心投入在事业上的咲和子来说，这是她生活的一个转折点。多年以来，她第一次与父亲同住，并在福地诊所担任主治医师。福地诊所的主任仙川彻医生性格开朗，深受患者爱戴；诊所的护士星野麻世抚养着已故姐姐的儿子，并将造福一方患者的仙川医生视为救世主。咲和子和麻世提倡采用尊重患者生活方式的治疗方法，在这里，咲和子“非生即死”的救治理念慢慢发生了改变。医学专业毕业的野吕圣二还未获得医师资格证，他跟随来自东京的咲和子加入福地诊所，成为了这里的一名员工，他不确定自己是否应该继续从医。与此同时，麻世也在自己的痛苦中苦苦挣扎着。面对不同的患者，每个患者都有自己的治疗问题，也有选择家庭护理的特殊原因。作为福地诊所的医生，咲和子开始重新思考兼顾患者和家人的生活方式。
