◎幕后揭秘

　　这部影片改编自导演卡特琳·布莱亚自己的小说。影片早在2002年就拍摄完成，但直到2004年才获准放映，公映版本也做了删减。这部影片坚持了导演一贯的强硬而又十分个人化的女权主义风格。影片中出现了大量的直接的性描写，并由色情演员真实出演，但这些内容很难挑起观众的欲望。导演试图表达对男性中心的道德观的批判和挑战。主人公以抽象的男人和女人命名，而原型都来自希腊神话，台词也模仿十八世纪的对白。影片几乎没有情节性的变化，只是运用人物的肢体语言来陈述关系。导演认为：“社会对女性的忽视是惯性的，这就促使我总需要写这样的作品，我总想在他们不经意时提醒他们，这样做很残酷。”
