　　这场在维琴察的帕拉迪奥教堂举行的《梵高：在麦田与天空之间》（Van Gogh. Between wheat and sky）画展藏品全部来自于私人收藏家海伦·库勒-穆勒。尽管素未谋面，穆勒却可以称得上是梵·高的伯乐，毕生收购他近300幅作品。纪录片同样选择从穆勒的角度展开，以两人之间的书信往来贯穿全片。
　　十年燃烧自我，一生穷困潦倒，死后才被世人追捧。梵·高所到之处，每年都有数以万计的游客纷至沓来。从荷兰南部的小镇纽南，比利时的布鲁塞尔，到法国巴黎，以及梵·高度过生命最后时光的奥维尔小镇，摄制组都一一探访，寻找那些令人屏息凝神的杰作背后真实的风景和心境。
